3D AND 2D ANIMATION

Hi! I am Tehniyat Shaikh, an animation artist working in 2D and 3D Animation for the past 7 years. I am currently residing in India as a full time freelancer, turning ideas and scripts into animations. My multi-disciplinary skillset allows me to pitch the best visual art direction to help emotionally connect the target audience to the client.

I completed my MFA in Animation from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019, during which I learned a variety of ways to help make a story successful at connecting with the people and making them FEEL. I worked on mediums like 2D, 3D, 2.5D and Virtual Reality, accomplishing various roles such as animator, character designer, storyboard artist, illustrator, previz artist, animatic editor, motion designer as well as a director on an award winning 3D animated short film.

 

In my free time, I like to volunteer for small businesses, animation students, giving back some of the support that I have received throughout my career.

 

I love travelling, exploring new places and photograph stories around me. My friends describe me as a good listener, trustworthy, chill and a patient human being (and I didn't even have to pay them).
